Caribbean Cruise 2
The Caribbean Cruise that we had planned for over a year was finally here. We left a cold cloudy Galveston on the Voyager of the Seas with a lot of excitement and anticipation of the fun we knew we would have.
The boarding of the cruise ship went very easy and fast. We all had our information prepared online to avoid long waits at the boarding gate. The staff at Royal Caribbean are extremely friendly. We were on the ship in less than an hour and headed for lunch.
We had 29 happy people including 6 from other clubs traveling to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Many were first time cruisers and didn't know what to expect, hopefully they were pleasantly surprised.
Everyone had a variety of excursions booked to try things they had always dreamed about. Some people swam with dolphins and stingrays, others went out in 4 wheel drive jeeps, still others sped about on ATVs and splashed through the mud, while others went kayaking and ziplining. Whatever the fantasy, a lot of people had fun. The weather was sunny and in the mid 80's. This was a great trip!
