Looking for group to run with

Hello,

My name is Benjamin. I'm 30 years old and just joined the club. I finally got my hands on my fathers 1990 miata. I have had my eye on this car since he bought it. The car has been sitting in his garage for about 8 years. He originally bought it in 1990 in Irvine, California. After nagging him, he let it go for 2,000 bucks to make room in garage. I'm looking for a group to run with. I live in Pipe Creek so I know the hill country pretty well. I have already added an Invader body kit, rims from a 2003 miata, after market soft top, etc. The car is in great shape and ready to keep up. I like the long runs and stopping to drink a beer and getting some good food to eat.

About 7 years ago I met about 8 or nine members of the club in person at the Mazda show in Las Vegas and every one was very nice. There was lot's going on so I didn't have time to get to know anyone. Looking forward to hearing from ya'll and meeting up on a hill country run.
Also I'm interested in any parts for sale.:cool: Black seats, hard bar, hard top. Thanks :bigbeer:

Benjamin, I noticed you post today and saw that no one had replied to it. I believe that you originally posted it in August, and you may have already joined the club. If so great, but if not we are a busy club with many planned activies throughout the year. This year has been a little difficult because of all the HOT WEATHER, but now it's November and there have been some great days for top down hill country runs. As you may have noticed the Texas Miata Roundup is happening this coming weekend (Nov 5-7). A great time to meet club members and find out what's happening. If you haven't planned on coming, think about it again. The first year my wife and I went we decided at the last moment....getting a room was no problem and we had a great time. The link is on the club's web site home page. Check the calendar for all the planned events for the rest of the year and sign up on Yahoo groups to get all the club events e-mails.
