Guess where I went today? (See photo below...)
The route has been plotted and test-run for the, "Run to the Alamo" has been made. (Over 150 miles of Texas by-ways to Alamo Village and about 100 miles via Hwy-90 on the return...)
Plan ahead for Sat., 9 Apr and join me on the first Chouki-led run as we jaunt out to the movie set for John Wayne's 1959 "Alamo".
Between admission, lunch at the Cantina, a tour, a gunfight and a photo-op in front of the Alamo itself, the price tag looks to be about $17 and 7-hours per person. (It'll cost a couple more $$$ if we have less than 15 bodies (not cars) for this event...)
