Tim and Ennie,
You out did yourselves...A perfect club run.
The Bluebonnet Miata Club of San Antonio, driving the back country in perfect formation.
You made sure that NONE fell back too far, yet, you kept the "pack" at an exciting speed.
If I were a kid watching in the front yard, watching us go by, I would be inspired...
If I were a cow, in the field, I would be annoyed...HaHaHa
But, anyways, plenty of curves and straight aways...
I, again, drove the car that pulled "flank."
For me, I find great honor...
If someone makes a wrong turn, to me, it is my responsibility to make sure that they are found and brought back to the Rally...
Again, I feel double honored.
Robert Ostrup
P.S. Jimbo, You led the latter run with exquisite views and an interesting tutorial of the area.

Your right, Tim & Ennie did a great job, in fact I would call it an "Amazing & I'm still searching" Run". The things this club can do never cease to amaze me, we moved "Uvalde" yesterday + we really did a remarkable job of shrinking it in size as well. The roads were hot as Tim said (almost to hot when the Shefiff's Pick up went by all of us with lights flashing and just kept on truckin). I just knew it was me, because I had dropped back from Tim and wanted to clean the carbon out of the MSpeed, so I really breathed a deep sigh of relief when he went by me, then it was Ennie's time to worry, but he flew right by them as well.
There is still that one hot road I'm looking for, that's 480, I'm not worried as I know we will find it one of thse days on one of our runs.
Tim & Ennie, thanks for a great run, you know this is all in fun and I reallly appreciate you leading the run.
For those new to our club, we have always had fun with the run leaders, either when they make a wrong turn, the map or que sheet has a mistake on it, etc. To my knowledge, no one has ever made a totally accurate or correct que sheet, so don't worry about this little thing, we just mostly play follow the leader, except when you loose sight of the car in front of you then you had better be reading the map or que sheet (isn't this right D?)
To close, it was a great day, great run, great food and great fellowship + the added benefit of getting to visit with the "Mini Motoring" group in Bandera. Pat and I ran into a couple who we cycled with for several years, who now are into Mini's. They said they had two. Now I know its not just Miata's that couples have more than one of thse little fun cars (its just got to be the "Fun" factor.

Well the last two post said it all!!! Bill and I had so much fun yesterday! It is so nice to be with such a wonderful group of people on such a beautiful day! I can't wait to see the pics that were taken when we went through the water. It was so clear and pretty it made you just want to jump right in... too bad it was so cold! I can't wait to go on the next one! By the way, anyone know when the calendar will be updated?
Jim- We had a great time on your mini trip! Bill is still apoligizing for almost killing us. hehe We need a lot more practice on those roads before we will be able to EASILY keep up with you!!! You definately made Bill work the gears out on my poor car! See you next time and maybe I will have my horn by then!
