I was out and about today, plotting a course and trying to figure out how to present a run that would not only challenge our skills, but also, give us a pleasant place to dine.
I have found a picnic facility that has all the bells and whistles. A snack bar that serves burgers, pizza, chicken, etc. Clean restrooms (I am assuming that the womens restrooms are clean, as well...HaHa.) Ample parking. There are even barbecue grills, for those who wish to add a little touch of "home."
The roads are well travelled by many of you, but I think I have found a road that will be new to many. Some of them wind gracefully, while others are a little more "curvy."
I have e-mailed Austin, to get my route upgraded to "Autobahn" status, but, I don't think they will comply.
On Sunday, Feb. 6, 10:00 A.M
I will be at the Goodwill Collection Box in the Walmart parking lot at 1604 and 281. If any show up, we will be setting times, millage, advise, pointers, etc. If anyone has a GPS, by all means...bring it.
