Texas Independence Day parade!!!!!

Just received this email from Ralph (Tejas Miata member). It should be a great time, and we can grab lunch afterwards. I'm planning on leaving San Antonio at 7:15am (forum parking lot in front of Starbucks), and can arrange a caravan if anyone in interested. This is a great opportunity to participate in a celebration of Texas Independence, as well as meeting some of the Austin miataphiles. Please shoot me an email if you're interested.

Yesterday was Texas 169th birthday and was celebrated throughout the
state. But don't think that the festivities are over. The Texas
Independence Day Parade will be held this Saturday morning.

You and your Miata are invited to participate. Just meet up at
either:

• 9:00 North Austin pre-meeting, Pok E Jo's North, 2121
Parmer Lane, or
• 9:30 Somewhere in the South Congress and Riverside staging area

Decorate your car, if you wish, or just show up. Bring your camera
and a festive mood! See you there,

Had a great time at the parade. I even had the opportunity to see Rohm's old blue M-edition (it's the one with the longhorn stickers on the headlights). Great people, a great time, and even better BBQ.
