Fun for All!

The 2004 Miatas in Kerrville Extravaganza This event is taking place on October 1, 2, 3rd in Kerrville. Again, our hotel will be the YO Resort on Highway 16 just south of I-10 and this year promises to be as much fun and exciting as all the year past.

Now for some details.

Rooms are available for $79 per night - just tell them you are with the Miata Group We will have a meeting room on Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening. There will be coffee on Saturday morning. www.yoresort.com

Many of the Houston Miata Club members will travel to Kerrville on Friday and after check in plan on getting some quality time around the pool and hot tub. Events include a Photo Rally rather than a Gimmick Rally; several high speed and lower speed romps through the beautiful hills and corners of the surround area; great camaraderie at various restaurants in the area; an early morning run on Sunday to watch the world wake up; numerous give-aways and prizes; event tee shirts; car magnets and who knows what else.

Registration and additional information is at www.miataroundup.com. We will have PayPal set up for your registration fees which are $20 per car in advance and $25 at the event. Your fee includes the car magnet and a bag with some other goodies in it, access to all events and your name in the pot for the drawings Saturday night.

So, get ready and check the web site for additional information after you sign up. The organizers look forward the seeing as many Miata folks there as can show up.

Just curious. Who is planning on attending? My wife and I are planning on it, provided we have child care squared away.

Is this usually a fun event? (<- that was a loaded question)

Thanks in advance for your comments.
