Biff Buzby's Burger Joint - Every Friday night

Hi, y'all! This isn't specifically Miata-related, but for any car aficionados, come on out sometime to the Friday night "Cruisin' Night" at Biff Buzby's (Toepperwein and IH35, behind the Whataburger and Carl's Jr., just off the northbound access road.) It's free, but if you want to park inside the roped-off area, there's a $5 charge (which also gives you a $5 coupon to use at the burger joint.) Plenty of nearby free parking around the event if you just want to walk around and check out the cars, too.

Oh, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this place offers "pickle chips." Not the kind you find in a bag - I'm talking about slices of dill pickles that are battered and deep-fried, served with ranch dipping sauce. Truly a delicacy of epic proportions. The rest of their menu is pretty doggone good, too.

Of course, don't be surprised if you see some fellow Miata owners there showing off, too...

Just wanted to put this out there - at Biff Buzby's last night there were 6 Miatas. One member, and three or four that I gave our cards to and we might have some fresh potential members that are NA/NB enthusiasts, one of which went on a Jimbo run out to the Hill Country and had a blast half a year ago or so.

It was nice to see so many Miatas out there in a single night. If y'all are in the area or want to make the drive, it's a great venue. All kinds of cars, from rat rods to Lamborghini - different show each week. We might have a few new recruits for our next meeting. One of them just moved here two weeks ago.

It's five bucks to park inside the ropes, but that gives you a pass to park inside and also a five buck coupon to put toward anything they offer. Very generous portions and never had a bad experience. If you plan on drinking, you can do it in the lot, bring your own and a cooler, your coupon is better served in ordering some food from the place. If you haven't ever eaten fried pickles, you simply have not lived.
